The British Red Cross (BRC) helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual crises. We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand crises in their own communities. When the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.
The British Red Cross has engaged in OPT and supported the Palestine Red Crescent Society for many years. Recognising the challenges in operating in OPT and the continuous need for improvement of ours and our partners’ capacity to deliver humanitarian assistance, the British Red Cross, in close collaboration with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is looking for a highly experienced Logistician to undertake an in-depth assessment of PRCS’ logistics functions. The assessment will involve the delegate traveling to PRCS’s branches across the Middle East, and using the data gathered to produce a full report of an analysis of PRCS’s current logistical capacity, systems and procedures, and plan of action for next steps to make the necessary improvements, in close partnership with PRCS and BRC’s experienced logistics teams.
We are committed to welcoming people from the widest possible diversity of background, culture and experience. The British Red Cross, incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, is a charity registered in England and Wales (220949) and Scotland (SC037738).
We appreciate the efforts each individual makes to keep our organisation running smoothly and efficiently. As a result we offer a wide range of staff benefits. Please find more information on British Red Cross website: http://www.redcross.org.uk/About-us/Jobs/Overseas/Overseas-employee-benefits
